I finished a study as a Filmmaker/Director of Photography in Den Bosch before starting with the study of interactive media design at the Royal Academy of Arts. I explore and experiment with several digital media-types; from game development, video, photography, interactive design, light installations up to written stories.

I have a great interest for moving image and try to expand this with the use of building installations, evoking emotions with use of electronics, light and sound. In my work I often look into the connection between our consciousness/spirituality and nature/biochemistry. I balance on the border of nature and technology with a question as the trigger, where is the connection? Is there a way to achieve an artificial nature? Can media types be used to bring the man back to a feeling of nature and wonder, by imitating the greatness of mystical dimensions, triggering self-reflectance and implying the need to protect our earth?
